They are not "dangerous" unless you provoke them. They are actually very loving animals and love to have real relationships. They are very good protectors, so be aware that if there is something they don't like about someone, they might react. I used to have a German Shepherd and he was quite loving. They will protect you and your family very well and they are so sweet:)
