∙ 13y agoIrish wolfhounds are taller at the shoulder on average, than a Great Dane. Just because there was a Great Dane, who was the tallest dog in the world for some time, doesn't mean the breed in general are the tallest. The current tallest dog in the world is a Newfoundland.
