What is the exact model number of your printer (e.g. Lexmark X1270, Lexmark X1240, Lexmark X1250, etc.)? Also, check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by clicking on Windows logo Start menu > right click on Computer > Properties. With the printers I mentioned, there are Win 7 drivers available for download in the Lexmark website. In some cases, the Vista drivers are compatible with Win 7 operating system. If you want to check it out yourself,. Type the exact model number of your printer (e.g. Lexmark X1270, Lexmark X1240, Lexmark X1250, etc.) in the bar just below the images of some of Lexmark's printers, then hit Select. The next page should show you the available drivers for the printer you can download.

∙ 11y agoNo reason why not. Windows 7 installed my printer without the need for the CD-ROM that came with it. If Windows doesn't recognise your printer, there are loads of websites with drivers that should fix the problem.
