A punnett square is the diagram used to determine the expected genotypic ratios for the offspring.

A dihybrid cross is a cross involving two different traits. For example RrDd X RrDd would be a dihybrid cross. You could use a punnett square to determine the expected ratios for this cross:

A monohybrid cross is a breeding experiment between the P generation, or the parental generation, organisms that differ in one trait.

A punnett square can be used to find the result of a monohybrid cross, but it can also be used to find the result of a dihybrid cross and so on.

So, a punnett square is not the same as a monohybrid cross, but a method in which a monohybrid cross can be solved.

What is a cross called that involves one trait?

It is a dihybrid cross. An example: if you cross garden peas having round yellow seeds with others having wrinkled green seeds, that is a dihybrid cross, because you are tracking both seed shape and seed color.

What is the difference between a monohybrid and dihybird cross?

monohybrid cross deals with one genotypic trait whereas the dihybrid cross deals with two traits being crossed to see the possible genotypes.
