The Playstation 3 wireless controller will also serve as a remote but an optional remote is sold if desired.
Yes, you can play DVDs on your 360, and control it with either the 360 remote, or a controller.
for original xbox u have to buy an accessory which is a remote and it plugs into the controller slot
Well Its easy you plug in a controller and put in a game and you have to have a remote to play dvds and so that's the basics Bubba4
Under $20 and they are too play DVDs and Blurays on your PS3 instead of the Controller, which will work. My Sony HDTV remote works after an HDMI connection
No it is Blue tooth and TVs do not use that they use a system that has to have line of sight, but my Sony TV controller works to play DVDs and blu ray discs on the PS3 so does the Sony Home theater remote
No, it can't.
You can not
The Playstation does not play DVDs only CDs
The Playstation 3 plays both DVDs and Blu-Ray without a special adapter.
No, PlayStation 3 is designed to play DVDs and Blu Ray movies.
No, it only plays standard DVDs.
PlayStation 3 will Play Blu Ray discs, it will also upgrade the DVDs to 1080p and play the DVDs with much better quality than a player that does not have the upgrade capability. I no longer use my DVD player to play any of the DVDs and only use the PlayStation 3 to play everything. I use my computer to record some shows while I am watching other shows. I then transfer them to DVD and also play them through the PS3. When I am watching the shows I am very impressed with how fast the PS3 can skip over the commercials in the fast forward at speeds of 1.5, 10, 30, and 120. It also has sound at the 1.5 speed and I have found than option useful. Because I have a Sony BR6 TV I don't even have to use a controller for a remote to play the DVDs, or purchase the special PS3 remote because my TV remote will work on the PS3 from the HDMI sync on the TV. I just insert a disc into the PS3 and the TV and Remote switch over to the PlayStation 3. I should mention that even though the PS3 will upgrade the DVDs the picture quality of the Blu Ray is even better than anything I have seen on my TV including all the HD broadcast of Movies and TV shows that are only at 720P.
