Is a Stevens Savage Arms Model 124 12 gauge semi automatic shotgun that is is rough condition--- rust and some mold issues--- worth anything in terms of parts?

I'm not to familiar with the 124, but I know that even in good, working condition they generally go for about 140 to 160 dollars. If you sold it as parts, depending on how much rust and mold there is, you could probably make 35 to 60 dollars.

First of all, the Stevens 124 shotgun is not a semi auto, it is a bolt action despite what might appear in some of the popular gun reference books. It just happens to look somewhat like a semi automatic. If it is complete, it is probably worth a $100 even with some rust and mold. The stock is made of plastic (Tenite) so what might look like mold may come off with a decent household cleaner. I wouldn't use a petroleum based cleaner.
