Yes TFT LDC is used in many TSDs
TFT stands for Thin Film Transistor. Basically, it's two extremely thin sheets of conductive material. When you touch the screen, you push the layers closer together - changing the resistance, which converts to an electrical signal. This is interpreted by the phone as an instruction to 'do something'.
TFT is an acronym for Thin Film Transistor. This is a type of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen which uses thin-film transistor (TFT) technology to improve image quality.
TFT is Thin Film Transistor. It is also known as flat screen. There are TFT computers. There are also TFT TVs.
The film transistor(TFT) is also know as Active matrix

the main difference between the thick film and thin film ics is the method of deposting the layer but not the relative thickness........................

Not all... Older ones worked on a 'grid' system. There were sensors built into the edge oif the monitor - which detected where you were touching the screen. Modern screens use TFT (Thin Film Transistor) technology... The screen is made up of two thin layers of conductive material and normally, no current flows between the two layers. When you touch the screen, you force the two layers closer together (temporarily). This changes the resistance between the layers, and the computer converts the change to commands.
