Worked it out, right hand thread, clockwise to undo it.
It's a left hand thread. Crank to the right.
Hey, yes the Idler Pully nut is reverse tread (you have to turn right to loosen this) this is because you turn left to loosen belt tension. I believe this is true for a lot of GM engines.
Is the crank pully bolt on a 1993 civic 1.6 litre left or right handed thread???
facing the engine you turn to the right it is r/ hand thread if you look at tne bolt head which is behind the pulley
The upper tension regulator on a sewing machine adjusts the tension on the upper thread. This helps ensure that the stitches are formed correctly and evenly, with the right amount of tension to hold the fabric layers together. Proper tension adjustment is important for producing high-quality sewing projects.
open the hood-youll see the tension pully with the belt wraped around it and to the other pullies. youll need the right socket wrench to loosen the belt once accomplished-youll turn the nut on the pully to remove-go slowly and check the direction if correct. remove the tension pully insert the new one-put the screw back in=dont over tighten then place the belt back on-start your engine.
Take the thread through the first thread guide which is on the right, then through the needle guide notch. Wind the thread around the tension dial and pull up to the left of the dial. Pull the thread into the thread guide at the bottom. Take the thread from front to back through the needle eye.
This is a common problem on these vehicles. There is one pully keeping tension on the belt and another (opposite side) just going along for the ride. The most common culpret for the whining noise is the Idle pulley. It is cheap and easy to replace. 1) Take the belt of be releasing tension on the tension pully and slipping the belt off the alternator pully (no need to take belt completely off) 2) remove the center bolt on the pully and the pully will come right off 3) Bolt new pully on 4) Replace belt onto alternator pulley and make sure that it is riding correctly on all the other pulleys. 5) Release tentioner pully You are ready to go! Takes about 15 minutes. Now you can turn the radio down.
I JUST CHANGED MY TENSION BELT. THERE IS A SHINNY PULLEY RIGHT BEHIND THE UPPER MOTOR MOUNT. TAKE A 15MM, THERE IS A BOLT ON IT, PULL CLOCKWISE, THE PULLY SHOULD RELEASE THE TENSION
Right hand thread
A thread guide is a small metal or plastic component found on sewing machines that helps guide the thread through the machine properly. Its main function is to ensure that the thread follows the correct path from the spool to the needle, preventing tangling or breakage. Thread guides are essential for maintaining proper tension and stitch quality during sewing.
it means the thread on the right hand side of the tire
