William Newport was a painter that lived in Oklahoma City during the early 1920's and loved to paint on both plywood and canvas.

There are only 12 paintings that are known to exist painted during 1921-1924 on his Grandfather's farmhouse.

That is all I know about him. My mother had one of his paintings in her living room for years before she sold it. I don't know what they buyer paid for it but I know he flew in from England just to get it.

My grandmother had a painting by this guy, if its the guy from Oklahoma I don't know.

I sold it to an auction house for 3K. It was a small plywood painting of a barn.
