no because a apartment building is usually implies more then one stories and a flat is only one story. So a two-family flat tells me that it is just two apartments on the same ground level.

Plot is Just Residential Land. Flat & Apartment are the one portion of dwellingunit out of several units in a same building.
The similarities are mainly that they are both designed to be 'complete' accommodation for a person/family, and comprise several rooms. The differences are that houses tend to be individual entities - even when they are terraced or semi-detached. An apartment is a unit within what would normally be considered a house of individual building - and is usually one of several/many contained therein.
The antagonist in "Same Stuff as Stars" is Mr. Fabiano, the landlord of the apartment building where Angel and her family live. He is portrayed as greedy and uncaring, taking advantage of vulnerable tenants like Angel's family.
I believe its the same as someone who owns an apartment building.
Because while they all live in the same building, they don't live together, but APART from one another.
Your neighbour should not be able to do anything to your voltages in your apartment. That said if your apartment is not a legal apartment in an apartment building then someone else might be on the same circuits as you use. Legal apartments have their own distribution panel which only serve the apartment that the tenant lives in.
It kind of means the same thing, just some of the part are different.A home means you live in it and it belongs to you.A apartment means you live in a part of the building and it doesn't belong to you/it belongs to you. (If you bought the apartment)
No, but on the same block in the St Louis area called The HILL, an Italian neighborhood.

Traditional and low-income families usually share the same house or apartment building (known as vecindad), where depending on the income, would include one room per family and a communal bathroom, or one apartment per family which includes all services.Medium and high-income families tend to live on individual departments or houses for each nuclear family (i.e. father, mother, children). See the related questions for further detail.
Louis and Harry share a flat that is in the same building as Niall's flat and Zayn's flat. Liam is currently house shopping with his gf. So basically, no. But, they did have to share a room on X Factor in the X Factor house.
They all live in the same complex building. Louis and Harry live in the same apartment but the rest live in separate apartments. Apparently Niall has a statue of Obama on his balcony, so if you see one its probably their complex building ! :)
