not very hard as long as you know what your doing and do a lot of research before hand you should be fine.
the most crucial part about looking after a reptile is the temperature and the humidity as they are native creatures. they eat crickets and veg but will need a mineral supplement such as reptovite on their food to provide them with the correct nutrients and minerals which would be found in the food which they would eat in the wild.
research more on the internet and price up all the items and equipment needed before you get one as they can be very expensive creatures too keep.
another thing to consider is the vets, you will need to find a vets nearby which will look at reptiles as not many will.
No!, I you would like to mate them it would be very unlikely they would not mate. If you would not like to keep there young and have a male and female in the same vivarium just freeze the eggs when they have there young.
no u just got to give them a nice warm place and a cool shadded place and feed him
Not if you treat it with Gillette fusion pro glide.
After the initial set up of everything yes a Beardie is easy to take care of. Food, water, hold him/her and presto happy Beardie.
yes they are
most lizareds like lepoard geckos and bearded dragons and turtles
a bearded dragon is a very good but very expensive one of the only ways to make a dragon hate you is not to take good care of him
a chameleon. beardies are one of the most easy to care for lizards in the world. but when they are babies, they do require a lot of food, mainly bugs.
only need, being, cleaning and care of habitat/ cage. Otherwise , naturally bearded dragons never leave their homes/habitat/cage.
It matters why you want to get a bearded dragon. Bearded Dragons are very good for beginners with reptiles. I've had 1 bearded dragon they are very good as long as you take them out enough they can become tamed and they will liked to be held more. If you want a lizard that isn't hard to take care of the Bearded Dragon is the way to go. The most important part about them is making sure they are tamed. This means you must take them out of their tank at least 3 times a week. When they get big enough and they are tamed they will allow you to put a harness on them and you can walk them. I think Bearded Dragons are good pets if your going to pay attention to it. They are not like some lizards that you don't have to feed them everyday. One reason they are good pets is they are very nice. It is very easy to tame them and once you set up their tank the right way and they like it, it will be easy to take care of them if you don't give them the tank they want/need it will be very hard You need at least a 20 gallon tank for a baby if adult you need at least 50.
they eat a lot. take him to the vets asap.
Yes.Bearded dragons menstruate because when they give birth, blood comes out. That's the reason why bearded dragons menstruate. "Did you know facts" ---- 1.All female bearded dragons are the only animals that menstruate. ---- 2.They are the only dragons that cannot fly. ---- 3.They are the biggest dragons in some parts of the world.
get a male and a female and you should see them on top of eachother sometimes then the female will lay eggs. take the eggs and put them into an incubator and dont let the female take care of them or else the eggs will die.
Adult bearded dragons average 15" to 17" in length, though there are reports of large males reaching up to 23".
Are you taking care of it properly??? Do you have UVB/UVA lighting, proper heat lamp, big enough enclosure, lots of handling? Younger bearded dragons diets are 80% bugs, whereas older/ mature ones are 80% fruit and veggies. If you have done all this, maybe take him/ her to your local vet or exotics vet if necessary.Bearded dragons do not grow for their whole entire life. It is normal for them to stop growing around the age of 1 and a half or 2 years.BUT DEFINITELY TAKE IT TO THE VET. BEARDED DRAGONS ARE SPECIAL AND ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE PETS.
Yes, and this would be a nice, appropriate-sized enclosure for a pair. Be certain to buy a book on bearded dragon care, and do thorough research, before bringing home any pet. Never take advice from pet store personnel.
They are not hard to take care of.:)
