Drain tranny fluid, rethread plug hole with a good tap and die set. plug with the next size drain or fill plug. Good Luck.........

the oil plug should be torqued down 18-20 inch pounds or a good snug by hand is just as good
do you have a plug tester.if not the old fashion way is start the van and with a good pair of pliers pull out the wire at the plug one by one the engine will make a down grade sound if it does the plug and wire is good .
