While there are no specific passages that declares it to be sinful, it is generally accepted that a Christian should not date a non-Christian. Even if not technically a sin, there is precedent in The Bible that relationships with non-believers are a bad idea: The common Old Testament illustration is King Solomon, who had many foreign wives and turned away from his faith. Many of the other Old Testament kings were used as illustrations of not finding wives among foreigners for the same reasons: It can test someone's faith.
