Coton's are very loving, caring and hypoallergenic. They are the awesomest dog in history, definitely a family dog. Our big family of 25 has 5 Cotons's and they are great! My youngest daughter just loves them, they are also FLUFFY!
The Coton De Tulear is only a small breed of Dog and would definately be suitable for an inexperienced owner. They are easy to handle and don't require much training. They do need regular grooming however.
Yes, that is why they are known to be the Perfect Dog.
Coton de tulear
They can live over 16 years
The cochlea is a part of the dogs inner ear. It is not a breed of dog. You may be thinking of the Coton de Tulear. A medium sized white dog. The Coton can live 14 - 20 years. The Coton de Tuléar has a medium to long, fluffy, cotton-like coat that is considered hair rather than fur.[2] It is a non-shedding breed with low dander. Like the poodle or Havanese (thought to be the Coton's.(Wikipedia)
I believe it is a Coton De Tulear. That's my opinion!!
(Coton de Tulears) They are French dogs that look like bishons. They can be up to 12 pounds. i have a Coton and they are just the most wonderful little dogs in the world, in my opinion. mine is a year old and she is just adorable. They are also very playful.I am a COE breeder of Cotons - They are from Madagascar, Matter of fact, they are the royal dog of Madagascar. France owned Madagascar and so they spoke french in Madagascar, Thus the dog was named Coton de Tulear, translated to Cotton, due to the texture of their hair (yes hair, not fur). of Tulear, which was the port city of Madagascar. They are more closely related to the Coton de Reunion. The look much like an Havanesse, and some would the look like a Maltese.
A Coton De Tulear is a small breed of dog. It is covered with a cotton-like coat and is generally very playful. They generally weigh between 3 and 5kg.
to answer your question, yes. Any breed of dog can be a good family dog, it just depends on how raise it and treat it.
My dog, a Coton de Tulear, has vomited after eating the leaves of tecoma.
yes
If you are buying from a breeder that is a member of one of the Coton De Tuler clubs the price will be somewhere around $2000 for a companion dog and more for a show quality dog. The reason for this is that they are required to do health testing on all of their breeding dogs. They also buy the highest quality dogs to breed. If you buy from a none member breeder, the price is $650 and up. That's because the none member breeders are breeding dogs of questionable heritage and certainly not doing health testing.
