Therefore, if a contract is declared void ab initio, that means it never existed (ergo, it rolls matters back to the point before acceptance). Thus, I would say it is not an enforceable promise. You can't do anything PRIOR to their actually doing something. They must actually DO it before they have violated professional canons. If you are concerned that they MAY do something, you can warn them that you are aware of it, and you would feel obligated to report them.
