Yeah they are accredited through the Nation Home School Accreditation of America (NHSAA). The NHSAA is one of the largest organizations that accredits home schools ad private schools across the country. All public colleges recognized this accreditation and will accept a diploma accredited through the NHSAA. HOWEVER, some colleges require "Regional Accreditation" and will not accept your diploma. Please be careful when selecting an online high school diploma. If you plan on getting your high school diploma online, check with your prospective colleges to make sure they will accept it. Many college applicants end up spending hundreds of dollars then have to also spend additional money to take the GED. Just becuase a high school or college states, "we are accredited" does not mean they have the right accreditation.

Lincoln Academy is a scam, don't do it. I payed well over 400$ and got a fony peice of paper that is not actually accredited to get into any college. I have never done Continental Academy, so I can't give a review about that. *** Neither Lincoln Academy nor Continental Academy have valid or recognized Dept. of Education accreditation. Colleges and Employers do not accept either of these online high schools. A quick Google search indicates that both schools have very negative reports in the news and "F" rating with the better business bureau. If you are seeking an online high school that Is accredited by an agency recognized by the State and US Dept. of Education, you need to choose an online high school that is Regionally Accredited by AdvancED, NCA CASI, SACS CASI, Northwest Accrediting Commission or DETC. These are the Agencies that Colleges and Employers WILL accept. Google search "Regionally Accredited Online High School Diploma" and confirm the schools accreditation. When you earn a high school diploma from a Regionally accredited High School, you will not have any problems with acceptance with College or a new Job. Don't through your money away! Do your research, read reviews and check out schools with the Better Business Bureau.

Will the army accept a non accredited diploma?
No a friend of mine tried and it HAS to be accredited,but even one that's accredited is looked at as a Tier 2 diploma (meaning GED).

It depends on what accreditation the army accepts. My guess would be that they would not accept their diploma since most state and national colleges do not recognize Brittain Academy's diploma as one of the main accredited schools. From what I know, they used to be accredited by the required organizations for the Southeastern states, but lost their accreditation. All the people I've dealt with that have completed a high school program with Brittain Academy have tried to enter college and were told they would need to obtain a GED before being accepted into a program because their high school diploma is not an acceptable diploma. Don't waste your money, there are plenty of online high school programs that are legitimate. Brittain Academy is not. I hope you follow this advice. Good luck on your endeavors.

I got my high school diploma from american academy of pinecrest and I have been in more than six college including keyser university, Itt technical institute and miami dade college and they will not take it because they are not accredited by tallahassee and there isn't a certificate number in their diploma anyone could make a diploma without a authentication number or known as certificate serial number
