This would be a touch-screen display. There are two types: resistive (which usually uses a stylus or any other hard object, including your finger, to press and touch the screen, but can usually only register one touch at a time), or capacitive (which needs either your finger or a special stylus to use, but can register more than one touch - like pinching to zoom, etc).
