Is a Ford F-150 better than a Chevy Malibu? This is a like comparison- both brands make very high-quality instruments, but they are designed with different playing styles in mind. The only way to know for sure is to try an LP and a Strat, and decide for yourself which feel you are more comfortable with.
Yes. Much better. In my opinion, Gibson is the best guitar brand. Squier, is a part of fender and generally speaking, Squier guitars are not as good as fender.
i think they are just about the same. i have a fender stratocaster so i say fender
EITHER IS GOOD FOR METAL BUT YOU MAY HAVE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS ON THE FENDER
Plug a Les Paul into a Marshall and you'll find out. Forget all the other stuff out there - if you want gibsony sounding toines buy a Gibson and if you want fendery tones buy a Fender, Ideally have a Strat and Les Paul and good Marshall Amp and don't be swayed by all the advertising from everyone else..........
fender for sure, i would just get a strat but whatever model you prefer would would work. other than that, a Gibson les paul would be insanely awsome if you could afford it.
Well this is personal opinion but for the music i like indie/ indie rock there is on better guitar than an American fender strat :) Yes, it is personal preference, but it depends on what type of music you like Metal/HxC-ESP guitars are a sick choice Classic rock/any music-Gibson Les Paul Rock/Punk-Fender Strat it just depends but I play alot of hxc/screamo/metal and I love my Epiphone Les Paul custom.......
This depends on the model. If we were to compare a fender strat to a fender p bass, the strat is 25.5", the bass is 34". There's an 8.5" difference. +++ The questioner wanted the answer in centimetres! It is 21.6cms (216mm).
Gary Rossington usually used either a Gibson Les Paul or a Gibson SG. Allen Collins used a Gibson Explorer and Ed King (when he was still playing with skynyrd) used a Fender strat. 'Freebird' clearly shows the use of a Gibson Firebird in the second break. This is not the same as an Explorer which has regular humbuckers; the Firebird has slender single-coil Alnico-type pickups with a distinctive sound. Also, 'Sweet Home Alabama' clearly indicates the use of a Telecaster or else an old-style (50's) Strat on the bridge pickup. I believe the Les Paul/Explorer/Strat combo to be typial of live shows rather than what the songs were recorded with.
Wiring and electronics and wood the wood usually used is agathis basswood mahogany and alder p.s. fender's are better than Gibson.
Its all a matter of opinion, if your wondering what kind of style each one produces that depends on the player, the tone, the pickups, and the amp.
Most parts will fit. The neck and pickups will. The pickguard should. Two of the worst parts about the newer Starcasters are the wiring and pots. Strat electronics will be a huge upgrade. I'd think a MIM bridge would fit it, but you'd better measure that. The only piece that is odd on most of the newer Starcasters is the back plate. It is much larger than a Strat's and cannot be easily replaced.
Squirer has 3bolt neck and real Strat has 4 bolt. That is where the neck bolts onto the body.Different machine heads. Squirers only came out with rosewood fret board ,while the Strat comes with rosewood or maple fret board.Pickups probably different but can customise those,so no big deal. The only Strat to buy are the ones made USA.Squirer not made USA.
