No,car have multipoint injection.
A 1996 Punto 55 uses a single point (non-direct) fuel injection system. Later models adopted a multi-point injection system but none of the Fiat 1.1 engines use direct injection.

The Fiat Punto Sporting is a vehicle that is no longer made, so to purchase one it would have to be a used vehicle. In order to find this type of vehicle, one might check a local Fiat dealership, or perhaps Autotrader. The Fiat Punto Sporting may also possibly be found on Ebay depending on the availability in the listings at the time you are looking to purchase.

asumeung its a single point injection it is located on the throttel bodie next to the injector. if you lift of the air box you will see it on the right hand side of the injector looks like two very small pices of wire soldered together with a blob of glue with a black plastic ring around it. as for multi point injection this is usaly a push fit in to the air box. but please dont tamper with it or you could damage you engine.
