The 300 cubic inch 6 cylinder is a great engine and IMO one of the best truck engines ever built. It has tons of torque and was best suited for a truck application where pulling power was needed. It does not have lots of horsepower but has more torque than a 302 V8. Click the link for more information.
Loosen the transmission mount retaining bolts. Loosen the back to engine retaining bolts. Jack the transmission of approximately 1 inch. Remove the transmission mount bolts. Remove the transmission mount. Reverse the process to install the new transmission mount.

3 total : Two engine mounts and one transmission mount.
3 2 engine mounts and 1 transmission mount
Most likely worn engine mounts or transmission mount.
I am inthe process of removing ona right now, you are going to have to support the engine somhow because there is only one mount holding the engine, all the others are on the transmission
The transmission mounts are on both sides of the transmission at the bottom.
There is 1 mount on the front of the engine and 2 mounts on the transmission. Put a large block of wood under the oil pan of the engine and jack it up to take the weight off the mounts. Remove the bolt and fasteners on the engine mount. Replace it first. Then replace the 2 mounts on the transmission. The front mount is accessable but the rear mount you have to take the cross member off to get to it.
You can find a front transmission mount at the dealers or a salvage yard.
On a Ford Focus : The transaxle ( transmission ) is in the engine compartment , bolted to the engine , on the drivers side of the engine compartment
