Yes. The golden retriever is a royal and gentle dog, so it is very suitible for being a family pet.
to keep a golden retriever healthy you must do what you should what you do with normal dogs. feed them, groom them, walk them, play with them, and most of all love them. and your dogs will be happy and healthy. also you must take them to the vet for their medicine and to see if they are healthy to begin with.
it is legal, but can be a possible risk ogf killling the animal. KEEP IT INSIDE!
i'd be surprised if you wouldn't we shave our nova scotia duck tolling retriever for rhte summer. (a smaller, reddish fur colored retriever0 so it's probably fine.
A lab because they are easy to keep groomed wile goldens can have a lot of allergies and may get skin problems
Yes, white golden retrievers are the third most favored dog. This breed is very powerful and energetic which makes them your perfect companion for every type of adventures, be it hiking, swimming, and trips to the park. English golden retrievers have a lower cancer rate
Golden retrievers, like most dogs will start to bleed vaginally when they are in heat. The heat will usually last for two or three weeks.
golden retrievers are normally middle sized dogs unless you have a runt or a giant they are wonderful loving dags and they help bring family's together if u have a golden retriever your life can be visually perfect golden retrievers like weather like Nevada and Oregon i wouldn't recommend bringing a golden retriever to a place like Florida being a expert and all but you should have a medium to large sized doggy door so they can come in and out of the house as needed but don't keep them inside all the time they need exercise if you are a family of couch potatoes don't get a golden retriever because if the sit around all day without exercise they will get hip cancer also if trained as a puppy they are the most easy dog to train and have a history of being a service dog they are great loving companions that will make your life virtually perfect
Absolutely NOT!! Humans can NOT "catch" worms from a dog ... the intestinal worms that affect dogs are VERY different than those that affect humans. Also, PLEASE keep your dog INSIDE, it should not live outside!! Goldens are VERY people-oriented dogs ... if you do not want your Golden Retriever to live in the house with the family then please find him or her a better home with a family that actually wants a dog.
It all depends on the relationship of the two animals. Most people find that cats and dogs get along well with each other if they have lived together for a while, but there is no real answer to whether or not a golden retriever could keep a cat alive.
It is your choice. Golden Retrievers make great house pets because they are loving and fun to be around how ever, they do shed a lot. Some people keep them outside. Really, for this type of dog it is your choice but they would probably like to be inside with people.
Golden Retrievers shed moderately in the winter and summer, and heavily in the spring and fall. If you live with a Golden, you'll need to adapt to a certain amount of dog hair in your house and on your clothes.
