A "golden straitjacket" is a metaphor coined by Thomas Friedman in his book "The Lexus and the Olive Tree" to describe the constraints imposed by globalization on national economies and governments. It refers to the idea that countries must adopt free-market policies and practices to succeed in a globalized world, which can limit their ability to pursue independent economic strategies. Why would a ten month old staffy bite her feet?
Hi,
I currently have two staffies and they always do the same thing.
Although just to clairfy, is it "biting" biting or more of a licking and sucking?
If so this is because staffys are really sensitive to many backyard plants and weeds.
It is common for a staffy to bite/lick their paw, scratch there ear.
You can simply buy some cream or antibiotics from the vet to sooth the rash or allergy.
If it is just general biting maybe she is feeling bored or entetraine dlike a dog would chase its tail. If so simple buy a new dog toy or maybe think of introducing a new dog into the house!
Hope i could help

How many inches has the average height change from 1980 to 2007?
In the 1980s it was odd (but attractive) to see a tall man because most were around 5' 6" tall to 5' 10" at the very most. My great-grandfather was 6' 1" tall back then and was considered tall. Today many of the teens are much taller than their parents and at least in Canada the average height here for most teens is 5' 6" for a female and 6' or over for males. Their body shapes have also changed and both males and especially young women mature early at a rapid growth rate.

Can you stop golden retrievers from malting?
The best way to cope with a long-haired animal in the moulting season (usually during warmer weather) is to buy a good-quality comb and a brush, and groom the dog regularly. Start with the comb, and finish with the brush. Be sure to cover all areas, and have a bag ready to dispose of loose hair as you comb it out. Clean the comb and brush (just running water is fine) after each grooming session.
Be gentle and attentive to your pet's reactions to the grooming, and make it a pleasant experience for your dog, and for you, or you mightn't succeed in effectively combing your pet next time!
