Is a guy interested in you if he seeks out your child to speak to them every time he sees them and tells you it took five times to remember her name and the name is easy?

Well inless he is rally stupid then yes he does like you and is very interested! Why would someone keep trying to come in contact with you every time he seen you if he had no interest? See he likes you! I think he's interested in you. People that don't have children just aren't use to them and sometimes don't know how to talk to them. He's probably nervous. Some men just aren't noted for remembering names. Here's an example: My husband and I were a social evening and he introduced me to this Asian girl as "Veronica." Now, wouldn't you think Veronica is a rather unique name for these modern times? You don't often hear that name as it's from the 50s. I went up to her and in conversation called her by her name. It wasn't until we began to see her and her husband on a more personal note that she corrected ME and told me her name was Lorraine!!!! I could have killed my husband for that, but it turned out Lorraine and I had a good belly laugh over it and we've been friends for 18 years. Now when we meet people I introduce myself and I'm sure to get the correct name! LOL I have no idea why some men can't remember names, but they do. I need not tell you to really keep an eye on your daughter while any date of yours is around. Although he is probably a nice guy you just never know. Perhaps he's nervous and hasn't been around children that often, but then again, it's better to be safe than sorry. Don't leave your daughter alone with him at anytime until you get to know him better. I think on his part, it's inexperience and he probably doesn't have children of his own. Cut the guy a break, and ask him if he has a cute nickname for your daughter. This way he'll have a name to call her. In my family my nephew Cam is 6' 4" tall and well over 200 lbs., and it's a standard joke in our family when he comes to see us he runs like a little kid and I scream, "Hell, here comes Baby Huey!" We all have a big laugh over it. Do the odd fun thing together with your child (give yourselves some breathing room too) and this way if things are serious this young man will get some practice as far as dealing with your little daughter. Enjoy this guy you are dating, but in the back of your mind, never let love interfere with protecting your child. Marcy
