the Lincoln mark viii is rear wheel drive and the conti is front wheel drive so to answer your question... no they will not interchange, but many engine parts will
You have to buy the wheel bearing assembly.
The compressor is located in front of the passenger side front wheel. You have to remove the right front wheel and plastic wheel housing to get to it.
It's rear wheel drive
Standing in front of the car looking at the engine. Front of engine left to right 5-6-7-8. Rear of engine next to firewall left to right 1-2-3-4. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above answer is correct for the front wheel drive Lincoln Continental but the 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII is a rear wheel drive car firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of vehicle Helpfull
I'm going to say there's probably a hole in your brake line.
I believe the compressor is inside the passenger wheel well closer to the front bumper.
Behind the wheel well liner on the passenger side toward the front of the car.
The fuel filter on a 1998 Mark VIII is located in the right front wheel well bejhind the splashield aft of the wheel. Jack the front right of the car up, remove the right wheel assembly, and then remove CAREFULLY the plastic splash shield affixing hardware and then you will see the fuel filter up in the well... I could not believe it was located there either!!!!
passenger side front wheel well, forward end. must remove inner fender.
Sounds like your front brake rotors are warped.
On the passenger side behind the wheel well liner toward the front the car.
