There is oxygen on the moon, but not as a gas. It is bound up chemically in minerals. Free oxygen, the gas, is not held to the moon as an atmosphere because the moon has not enough gravity to hold a noticeable atmosphere.
The Earth and the Moon are not made mostly of gas but the Sun is.
no it is not it is rock
Yes it does! The moon isn't made up of any gas. Gas is what gives the sun its natural glow. That is also why you see the moon in different shapes, due to where the sun is in the solar system.
No it has no gas. It is fairly dead. Moon - negligible amount cuz of low gravity and proximity to the Sun. Hot gas molecules move faster and on the Moon gas velocities for those temperatures exceed escape velocity of Moon (i.e.. too low gravity) and hence have left it. But if the moon was farther away from the Sun and not too far that its temps fall to near zero (-273.15*C where all gases liquify) it could have a thin atmosphere made of the right kind of gas to suit the temp.
The moon has no atmosphere so therefore there is no dominate gas.
Titan is a moon of Saturn. It is a rocky moon.
it took 59,000 million pounds of gas to get to the moon.

The moon has a solid (terrestrial) surface.

no it is not it is rock
No. it is a Satellite [ or say Moon ] for Jupiter; the largest moon in our solar system.
"Triton" is the largest moon of planet Neptune.
The moon is not a star it is a moon. A star is made of gas - the moon is solid But it is the only object to orbit the earth
