Actually keyboards of various kinds are the most commonly used input devices for entering data.

Mice, roller balls, trackpads, etc. are used for making menu selections, etc.

It isn't really, a keyboard you can put data in but, you can download a tool called "On screen keyboard" which you can use with a mouse.
