Pickled cucumbers, onions and cauliflower florets are popular pickles, but many other products are commercially and domestically pickled, alone or in mixed varieties.

No. Cucumber is a fruit. The vinegar is made from apples, also fruit.

Most are, like cucumbers, Okra, peppers, but eggs and pigs feet and sausages are also pickled.
