When you cut yourself or break a bone, it eventually heals up. The same thing happens with piercings. It's a good idea to get your first piercing done with a stud, no matter where it is (you can have a loop or sleeper though). Then, for 6-12 weeks (depending on where your piercing is - your surgeon will tell you) keep your stud in lest it heals. If you are young, it could close up in an hour without studs. You must wear your stud(s) all the time - in the water, in bed, when carrying out athletic activities etc. Don't take them off. Then, after that period, you can take them off. Unless you where your stud(s) roughly at least once a week, the piercing will close up and you will have to get it done again. However, if you wear your earrings and studs for other body parts frequently enough, your pierce could last forever. So, make the most of wearing your studs and earrings. You don't want them to close up.
You have to keep an earring or something or else it will close
No, it can close up if you don't keep something in it.
It depends on the person most of the time a piercing that is stretched to a 0G will close to they original piercing size if you take the jewelery out.
Like any hole in the body that wasn't there by design the piercing will close if jewellery is not kept in the piercing. The speed at which the piercing closes will be dictated by the period of time the jewellery has been kept in the piercing, the longer jewellery is worn the longer it will take for the piercing to close up.
how can we close our facebook account forever
It really depends on the type of piercing and long you've had the piercing.
It depends on how fast your body heals, and how long you have had the piercing. The longer you have had the piercing, the longer it will take to close. This is true for all piercings.

After 3 years chances are good it wont close, the piercing will shrink but not close completely.
Depends on the age of the piercing, the gauge, and just how your body heals. Most do close but they leave scars.
