a platypus is a freshwater animal
Well, there are 2 types of fish, saltwater fish, and freshwater fish. Only put in saltwater if you own a saltwater fish. Note: Saltwater fish could live safely in freshwater, but freshwater fish will suffocate in saltwater.
Saltwater fish as fish that live in water with a salinity of higher degree than brackish water, such as fish from the ocean. Clownfish (Nemo), Tangs (Dory), Tuna (Charlie) are commonly known saltwater fish.
Salt water
a salt water fish is a fish that lives in the ocean
Because saltwater fish can only breathe in saltwater (as in the ocean) and freshwater fish can only breathe in freshwater (as in tap water.)
saltwater fish need to breath in saltwater and not fresh water. just like we need to breath in oxygen and not carbon dioxide.
Saltwater, by itself, cannot kill anything. It is water, and inanimate. Therefore it has no ability to kill. However, placing freshwater fish into saltwater will certainly result in their death. Placing saltwater fish into saltwater will not result in death.
because saltwater fish need cold water and saltwater
dont you mean saltwater fish?
Fesh
I am very sure they are freshwater fish, not saltwater.
The density and pressure of saltwater is different from freshwater as is much of the bacterias and parasites. The acidity of the water is also of concern as the lower the PH the higher the acidity of the water. Saltwater being of a higher PH would not handle the lower PH of freshwater very well. Also if moving a freshwater fish to saltwater that fish will lose a great amount of water in it's body causing death and if the saltwater fish is moved to freshwater it will gain great amounts of water causing death.
