In my experience juvenile offenders were offered the pleas of "Involved" or "Un-involved." Essentially they are the same as guilty and not guilty. They mean the same thing - but sound nicer and gentler.

Can you plea youthful offender status on more than one felony charged as juvenile?

You. as an individual, do not "plea" a youthful offender status. That classification is given by the court after reviewing your case(s) and determining if your case(s) qualify to be adjudicated under that particular statute.

Can you plea youthful offender on a felony even if you have already plead youthful offender on a misdemeanor If so what is the age limit in Alabama?

A Defedant may be allowed to plead youthful offender in Alabama if the person is under the age of 21 at the time the criminal offense was committed. An adjudication of youthful offender is not a criminal conviction and will not appear on your history as such. Youthful offender files are confidential records. You may apply for youthful offender status in any case whether it be the smallest misdemeanor like a speeding ticket of the most heinous felonies such as murder. However, it is discretionary with the judge as to whether or not you are granted youthful offender status. I do not recall those with felonies such as murder being granted youthful offender status. You may apply for youthful offender status in a felony case although you were previously adjudicated a youthful offender in a prior misdemeanor case. However, as I mentioned, it is entirely up to the judge as to whether or not he allows you a subsequent adjudication as a youthful offender. Hope this helped.

How old do you have to be for a youthful offender?

A "youthful offender" (YO) is any person who is sentenced as such by the court or is classified as such by the Department of Corrections pursuant to section 958.04.[FN1] There are two ways by which a defendant can become entitled to the benefits of the YO statute. Either the trial court can sentence the defendant as a YO, or the Department of Corrections can designate a defendant who was sentenced as an adult to be a YO.[FN2] Qualification Pursuant to section 958.04, F.S., the court may sentence as a YO any person: (a) Who is at least 18 years of age or who has been transferred for prosecution to the criminal division of the circuit court pursuant to chapter 985; (b) Who is found guilty of or who has tendered, and the court has accepted, a plea of nolo contendere or guilty to a crime that is, under the laws of this state, a felony if the offender is younger than 21 years of age at the time sentence is imposed; and (c) Who has not previously been classified as a youthful offender under the provisions of chapter 985; however, a person who has been found guilty of a capital or life felony may not be sentenced as a YO under the Youthful Offender Act

Is nolo and 1st offender the same?

No, the two terms have nothing to do with one another. "Nolo" is court slang for the plea of "Nolo Contendre" which is a plea offered by a defendant when they don't wish to plead guilty, but acknowledge that the prosecution probably has enough evidence to convict them. The term "First Offender" refers to someone who has never been arrested before this time.

Plea that means a defendant does not admit guilt but will not fight the prosecution's case?

no contestAdded: In Latin and in legal terminology: Nolo Contendre.

Can you get a prayerful judgment in court?

That's prayer for judgment continued, and it's a plea entered in a court of law.In traffic court, it's not an admission of guilt or a plea of innocence. If accepted, the charges are dismissed, but usually with a stipulation. Generally, the requirements are that you not get charged with a similar offense for a specific period of time, else you will face both charges. However, if the accused does not commit a similar offense in the time period, the record is expunged. In Federal Court, it's a delayed prosecution. After accepting a plea of guilty, the judge can find guilt without entering a judgment and have the court reconvene at a later time, up to a year, for instance. If the conditions for the PJC have been met, the charges can be dismissed.
