Rottweiler is a strong breed and a small child is not strong enough to handle a full grown Rottweiler or any other full grown large dog if it suddenly decides to go and chase for exaple squirrels. Rottweilers like any other dog breeds can be raised and taught wrong but if you do like I do and love your dog and raise it as a member of your family, then there is absolutely nothing to be afraid even when there is little babies drooling and fooling around.
