blood in stools indicates a problem. this problem could be rather minor such as haemorrhoids, or it could be very severe such as colon cancer. blood in stools is an indication to have a check-up by your doctor, because if treated early colon cancer prognosis is quite good, if left untreated well it may not be so good. you could go to a pharmacist and ask their advice if it is haemorrhoids, but i recommend you see a doctor, better safe than sorry!
