I just found out im pregnant and I have had very tender cervix.
my cervix is high soft and closed and I'm 5 weeks preg.
that's a sign that you have AIDS and syphallis
for most women high and soft but some women already have a low lying cervix prior to falling pregnant. So High or Low & Soft.
For me it was during each pregnancy, BUT every woman is different.
i have heard that might be a sign of pregnancy due to the extra blood flow when your pregnancy, you should take a pg test to see
when the uterine body and cervix can easily be flexed against one another
In non-pregnant women, the cervix is soft around the time of ovulation. In pregnant women, the cervix becomes soft in preparation for labor.
A purple/blue hue to the vagina and cervix can be a sign of pregnancy - it's known as Chadwick sign. Usually by the time this has taken place, an over the counter pregnancy test will be positive because the color change is due to an increased blood flow to the uterus. As with any body change, evaluation by licensed health-care provider is advised!
Ballottement indicates an increase of fluid over the patella at the knee joint - this has more to do with an injury or infection and nothing to do with pregnancy. Braxton Hicks or practice contractions are uterine contractions not usually felt until the second trimester or third trimester of pregnancy - the only cause of Braxton Hicks is pregnancy. Chadwick's sign is a bluish discoloration of the cervix, vagina, and labia caused by the hormone estrogen, its presence is an early sign of pregnancy. Goodell's Sign is a softening of the cervix and vagina - an indication of pregnancy. Hegar's sign is a softening at the cervix (lower end) and the fundus (top of) the uterus - an indication of pregnancy. While similar conditions may have alternative causes - Braxton Hick's, Chadwick's, Goodell's and Hegar's are all found in pregnancy.
You just described a perfectly normal vaginal canal. This is not a sign of pregnancy.
During early pregnancy your cervix should not .....repeat not be open (dilated) at all. Later in your third trimester you may become 1-2cm dilated, this is a sign that labor is near.
It means that you are beginning labor and you could have the baby at any time.
Cervix becomes soft at 4 weeks pregnancy. Not only cervix but uterus also becomes soft. Gynecologist is very careful while doing termination of pregnancy. ( Suction and evacuation.) Otherwise perforation of uterus occurs. Non-pregnant uterus is a tough structure and duringD and C, (Dilatation and curettage.) uterus does not get perforated, unless you want to perforate it.
You could be pregnant , usually after Ovulation your cervix is low hard ,and closed, but with pregnancy it's high soft ,and closed, and your having some pregnancy symptoms too, after you miss your period I would take a pregnancy test. hope this helped
wait it out. a missed period is the best sign of pregnancy. take the test a week or two after your scheduled period, depending on how regular you are.
Yes, this is common during ovulation. The cervix generally gets soft and the hole in the middle opens up more.
i was told by my doctor that the normal length of cervix canal during pregnancy should be 30mm.
It means the upper part of your cervix is closed. This is a good sign before 37 wks of pregnancy. When it is opened, it is considered to be funneling. Making your cervix look like a "Y".
