Is a unicorn an animal if they are not real why?

there is Horses but the Unicorns are fake...but in the Library they have lots of books about it:)

the mythical creature the unicorn is not proven to exist, but why does that mean it isn't real? there are sightings, unicorn bones and The Bible has the word unicorn in it alot- (eg God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn." 23:22) but then again, neither is there scientific proof of God, yet so many believe there is a God. Why do unicorns, merely pure goat like animals, seem so far fetched, when an almighty being in the sky that created the world is not?

A unicorn is a mythical creature that is basically a horse with a spiralled horn in the center of its forehead. There are a lot of various descriptions of unicorns, some saying that they are really part lion and have a lion's tail. Some say that they have little tufts of fur on the backs of their hooves. Some say they can fly, some say they can use magic, etc.

The closest animal to the unicorn is the rhinoceros. The unicorn itself is a horse, usually white, with a large horn on it's forehead, just in front of the mane.
