This depends. If you want a dog that is somewhat active but otherwise lazy, this dog is good for you. Whippets are also very energenic. If not, well, look for another dog. I have a whippet myself. Hope I helped. :)

∙ 12y agoYes I suppose, they can be tricky to train though and you must not be rough with them as they are very sensitive. They are also quite reserved with strangers and can sometimes have trust issues with non-canine pets, but they are low maintenance, sweet affectionate dogs as long as you keep them exercised and are friendly with other canines.
