Growing up in Atlanta, the Pully Bone was the choice piece of chicken, wonderful tender white meat with the wish bone in the center.
My wife, a New Yorker. though I was making this up.....their chickens came from the butcher shop....no Pully bone.
I have heard there is a resturant southeast of Atlanta, that still serves Pully Bones....and you can even order a Pully Bone platter for take out.
All whole chickens you buy at the grocery store have wishbones. You can find them buried beneath the front of the breast meat, attached at the pointed end to the large keel-bone (or breast bone) and at the tips of the wide end to each of the wing bases. Wishbones are easier to find once the chicken is cooked, as the meat then separates from the bones more easily. In split chicken breasts, only one half of the wishbone is present; it is broken during the preparation process. The wishes from these bones have already been used by the butchers and can not be recovered, even if the two original halves can be identified and put together again.
There are 120 bones in a chicken (206 in a human) and the breast bone is the largest bone. Though the types of bone are the same as in a human, there are fewer bones in the vertebral column and the ribcage, and the wrist/hand and ankle/foot bones are fewer and different in placement and length. There are 120 bones in a chicken (206 in a human) and the breast bone is the largest bone. The long bones are almost exactly the same. Chickens, like most birds, generally have a lighter bone structure with a slightly larger hollow space, but other than that they are about the same.
Same way you woul cook a boneless chicken breast only the cooking time is shortened because the bone actually causes the breast to cook faster because it generates heat
help her quickly and get an adult now!!!
Folklore has it, that when two people place their hands on each side of the wishbone and pull at the same time, the one who got the biggest piece - their wish is supposed to come true.
Sounds like wishbone bushes have gone, same thing happened to my escort had to fit a new wishbone there was movement in the bottom ball joint

There really isn't an easy way to figure the exact amount of bone in a chicken, because every chicken is a little bit different. However, a general rule of thumb is that when you cut up a whole chicken, there is going to be approximately 40% of the chicken for refuse (that is, portions that cannot be directly eaten). You can use those portions - for example, drumstick bones and rib bones, etc - for chicken stock and flavoring, but they cannot be directly digested. So, by this theory, one pound of bone-in chicken would equal 0.6 pounds (approx. 9.5 oz, or 272g). However, this is not an exact science. And if you are following a recipe that uses bone-in chicken, also keep in mind that bone-in chicken has a longer cooking time, so you will have to adjust your recipe accordingly, otherwise you'll overcook your chicken and it might be tough and dry.
In most cases the crank pulley bolts to the balancer so the crank pulley would not be the same as the harmonic balancer.
The 1994 would have a bolt on pulley while the 1998 had a pressed on pulley. Other than that they are same. A new pump would be of the pressed on pulley style. The 1994 would have a bolt on pulley while the 1998 had a pressed on pulley. Other than that they are same. If at a high end restaurant or a banquet one does not pick up their chicken with their hands. They use their knife and fork to pull the meat away from the bone. If just out at a general restaurant with a friend or a date you can pick up the leg of a chicken and take small bites; put the leg of the chicken down and use your napkin to clean your lips and hands. Wait a few seconds and do the same thing. With the the breast or thighs of the chicken use your knife and fork to put the meat away from the bone.
