No. It is a psychedelic reaction that constantly occurs throughout his/her life. The reason being is due to the natural production of bufotenin, which is similar to other psychedelics like psilocybin (magic mushroooms) and DMT.

Autism is not considered a birth defect in the traditional sense (birth defect generally being limited to physical problems). Though, a broader definition could consider it to be a birth defect, in that a person is born with autism, and it is not acquired afterwards.

In addition, the triggers and mechanism by which autism works is not well understood, and certainly doesn't have anything to do with psychedelics.

No, Autism is not a birth defect - and nor is it a psychedelic reaction.

Autism is a neurological difference, a variation in the human brain. Just like being born with brown eyes or being born a specific race isn't a birth defect, autism is a difference but doesn't make us less. Autistic people are not broken neurotypical people.

I have seen a study that says that a child with a CHD who has had surgery within the first year of like is more likely to have ADHD.
