Lifting 40 pounds at the age of 13 can affect your growth. It can cause a persons muscles to become weakened later on. The age of 13 is too young to be lifting heavy weights.
if your not a teenager don't do it but if you've had it since you were a teenager and your not past 40 its ok
I would say that young isn't an age. It is how you feel inside. I think that if you can keep yourself healthy and maintain to still go and be with friends or do whatever you want you are still young at heart. also, 5 is young, but 90 year old people consider 40 young. so whatever age you are you have a difff opinionn(:
The risk increases with age. Though it can strike people as young as 40, people between the ages of 60 and 69 are at the highest risk.
It all depends on your perspective. These days, many people say things such as "40 is the new 30!" meaning that today's 40-year-olds are more like yesterday's 30-year-olds (i.e., "young"-acting, -looking, or -seeming). To a 15-year-old or 20-year-old, 40 might seem ancient. To a 60-year-old or 70-year-old, 40 most certainly seems young. Practically speaking, 40 would be considered early middle age by most people. In previous centuries, many people were lucky if they survived to see 40. In recent years, as life expectancy grows into the 70s, 40 does seem fairly young.
Girls were married at as young as 14, during or right after puberty, to older men, 20s-30s. Girls were married as old as 40 and men 40. After all, the average life expectancy was 40-50 in 1910.
