no fungi grows on you and alge grows in the water

Actually, I disagree with the above answer, so I'm improving. They do have similarities. Both fungi and algae prefer to live in moist environments. Both can range in size from a single-celled organism to much larger, multi-celled organisms. Both have haploid nuclei (only one chromosome instead of two).

Things that algae and fungi have in common are that both are found in moist or water environments, and they have a haploid nucleus. Likewise, both fungi and algae have a large variety of species and subspecies that are found throughout the world and nature.

Can algae make a relationship with fungi on ground and how?

fungi and algae can grow together and produce substabnce called lichen, on the surface of the rocks. fungus provide algae with protection, whereas algae provide fungus with nutrients.

Is it true that Lichen is the result of a mutual relationship between a fungus and an algae or cyanobacteria?

Yup. Basically a fungal algae sandwich. The fungus provides protection and absorbs nutrients while the algae performs photosynthesis to feed the fungus. Neat stuff
