Na is larger than Cl. because they belong to same 2nd period. size decrease when you go from left to right in a periodic table.

Its atom size is bigger than Chlorine but smaller than Iodine

Why the chlorine does not form hydrogen bond as the nitrogen do in spite the chlorine is more electronegative than nitrogen?

Size of Cl atom is bigger than size of N atom. Electronegativity difference is .12 which is negligible.

How would you arrange these elements in order of decreasing atomic size sulfur chlorine aluminum and sodium?

Size of Cl atom is bigger than size of N atom.Electronegativity difference is .12 which is negligible.

Why the atomic size of argon is more than chlorine?

The size of argon is greater than chlorine because of the interelectronic repulsions start taking place when an atom attain its octet

Why is chloride ion bigger than chlorine atom?

A thorough explanation requires quantum calculations, but as an approximation: A chloride ion is bigger than a chlorine atom because the ion contains an additional electron, but the positive charge of the nucleus is not changed from that of the atom. As a result, the average electrostatic force between the nucleus and each electron is slighter weaker in the ion, so that its electrons equilibrate with a larger average distance from the nucleus than in the atom. (The external dimension of either an atom or an ion is determined by the size of its electron cloud since the nucleus is too far inside the electron cloud to affect external dimension.)

Is a model of a atom the same size as a real atom?

No. A model is a bigger or smaller version of the actual thing, in this case the model is bigger than the real thing.

Platinum has an atomic mass of 195.08 & Vanadium has an atomic mass of 50.9415. So platinum is bigger in size.

Which atom is bigger Co or Mt?

Down a group, atomic size increases. So Mt is bigger than Co.

Is a chlorine atom larger than a bromine?

Chlorine is in 3rd period and 17th group bromine is in 4th period and 17th group. The number of shells present in an atom is equal to the period no. In which it is present. So, chlorine has 3 shells while bromine has 4 shells. And atomis size is the distance between centre of nucleus and outermost shell. So, bromine atom is larger than bromine atom..

What information is needed to determine the size of an orbital?

n is needed to determine the size. As n gets bigger, so does the atom.
