ram doesn't use a cable, but sd and ddr are not compatible
SD RAM and DDR RAM
I need answer plz tell me difference between sd ram and as ddr ram
By transferring data on both rise and fall of the clock signal
no it can not..2 different sticks of ram
Ddr stands for double data rate. Which actually doubles the speed compare to sd ram
Not both at the same time. Most motherboards will be able to support both types of RAM but DDR RAM is much better, due to the double data capability it has. Since RAM prices are quite cheap it would be better if you throw out your SD RAM and buy DDR. No you cannot use both ddr ram and sd ram on the same pc. You have to use either or depending on the motherboard. The slots are different. You can determine what type of memory you have by entering setup in the bios when you turn on your pc. DDR Ram has a slot in the very center of the chip that forms to the slot you plug it into. SD ram has a slot on the chip off set the middle. Hope this answers your question. No, pc133 is SD ram and Pc3200 is DDR ram. They are not compatible with each other.
DDR Memory modules have only one notch on the contact strip, positioned just off-centre. Hence DDR modules will not fit in an SD slot. SD Memory Modules have two notches.
They are the same in your case. SD defines the ram as synchronous dynamic, the most common version or DRAM and offen spoke as just RAM.
PC133 is an SDRAM standard. SDRAM is a type of RAM.
Im afraid this is not possible. This motherboard takes DDR and / or SD ram, not DDR2.Both SD and DDR can not be used at the same time. IMHO DDR would be the better choice.Max allowed would be 2Gb (ddr 266 or ddr 200 buffered)Max allowed is 1Gb, unbuffered.Hope this helpsBe safe
Basically, it is a type of Random Access Memory (RAM) slot, that supports Double Data Rate (DDR) RAM. DDR RAM is said to be twice as fast as Synchronous Dynamic (SD) RAM.
