DFE means decritive fire/flame effect and ILFE or IDFE means inset Live/decrative flame/fire effect. Basicly DFE is a gas fire that is made to look like a log fire, and a ILFE is the same but is inside the builders opening, so its in the chimley. that's the only really diffence, there is more on the techncal side/the installer side of it all.
Log S is the logarithm of the Entropy.
pH is the negative log of the hydrogen ion (hydronium ion) concentration. It is - log [H+] or - log [H3O+]
Ka = [H+][A-] / [HA] Hence [H+] = Ka[HA] / [A-] Remember pH = -log(10)[H+] 'logging' both sides. -log(10)[H+] = - log(10)Ka[HA] / [A-] By algebraic manipulation of log. pH = -log[A-]^-1 - logKa - log[HA] pH = log[A-] - logKa - log[HA] pH = pKa - log[HA]/[A-]
pH = 4. The reason is that pH = -log [H+] or -log [H3O+] = -log 10^-4 = 4.
A log burner if it is gas, should be installed professionally by a plumber or contractor who could run the gas lines to the furnace. If it is a wooden log burner than home depot and lowes are good choices.
There are a lot of companies that sell parts for a gas log burner. If one wants to buy parts for a gas log burner one can go to the store where one originally bought the gas log burner. They usually sell separate parts too, and one will certainly get the right parts.
Yes, of coarse you can!
You go to your nearest diesel shop and ask for a sleeve installer for a 6GB1. Since the tool fits in the liner " sleeve " it can be used at the bottom of the liner ( in the crank case ) to remove a liner. Just rebuilt 2 6GB1 for 2 link belt log loaders. Cakewalk!
Well- you can't. Ventless is a different design. To try to do this would be extremely dangerous. And you can its about the perspective of the asking party. Did they mean "can you take a vented log set/ and burner and make it into a vent-less log set/ burner and just close the damper then yes that would be dangerous and cannot be done, however if the asking party just meant can they use the existing fire box, and using a vent-less burner then this would be safe and acceptable
yes
Vent free appliances CANNOT be converted. To change it over you have to buy a whole new burner. The local hardware store does not carry orifices for vent free appliances, and altering an orifice can lead to explosion or carbon monoxide poisoning.
log(x6) = log(x) + log(6) = 0.7782*log(x) log(x6) = 6*log(x)

Not quite. The log(x/y) = log(x) - log(y) In words, this reads "The log of a quotient is the difference of the log of the numerator and the log of the denominator."

No. The log of a quotient is the log of a denominator subtracted from the log of the numerator.
