What energy transformations are in an electric guitar?

electric energy to kinetic energy to heat energy

Is energy of a guitar string when plucked kennetic or potential?

It is neither. It is kinetic, though.

How do the strings of a guitar use kinetic energy?

The guitar strings vibrate.Kinetic is the energy of a moving object so it would be the strings cause the strings of the guitar moves.

What is the transformation of energy that occur while playing guitar?

Kinetic energy into sound energy- it's simple!

''what is the energy transformation of the the guitar?

The energy transformation takes place at the pick-ups of a guitar, and the transformation is sound (pressure) to electric. If you are referring to an acoustic guitar, however, the transformation could be better described as Kinetic and Potential energy (the strumming motion) into sound (pressure. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Supervisor here. I really hope I am misunderstanding your' answer but if you are saying that sound waves affect the pickups then you are not correct. The initial energy source are your fingers picking a string. You put potential energy in the string at this point. Now the strings take over and, with the energy you gave them, affect the magnetic field that the pickups are generating with their back and forth movement. The next part is really long winded so I'll give you the simple conclusion. Now you have a signal going to the amp. The amp controls the power going to the speakers with this signal.

Potential then Kinetic When you stroke it

Does a guitar have potential and kinetic energy?

Only when a string is strummed/plucked etc. When you hold a guitar string back it has potential energy, wthen you let go it has kinetic energy and it vibrates so it produces sound energy. See - three types of energy in two seconds! :) Hope I've been useful to you!

Is there potential energy in the the string of a guitar?

no it doesn't only if you play it fastIt is true that there is potential energy in the strings of a guitar. This happens when you stretch the guitar string.

Which form of energy is formed when a guitar string vibrates?

Kinetic energy, as it moves.

What tyes of energy are used to play an electrical guitar?

Well, It depends what type of guitar you are talking about. An acoustic guitar's strings vibrate into the body(sound box) of the guitar and the vibrations resonate in there and escape through the hole. An electric guitar however, has it's strings vibrate and magnetic coils pick up the vibrations and convert them into electrical power, through a chord, and into the amplifier. Then Bon Scott yelled "Let there be guitar!..."

What are the different forms of energy change that takes place when a guitar is played?

KINETIC(mechanical) to SOUND

What energy transformation took place in the strumming a guitar?

the energy that has transformed in a guitar when you strummed is sound energy, besides it makes a sound when you strummed a guitar ..

What are the benefits of an electric guitar amplifier?

The benefits of an electric guitar amplifier are the increased energy content to the signal the guitar produces and the available tone controls. The amplifier is a staple of guitarists for those reasons.
