Benzodiazepines *OR* Opiates?
Either / Or ??? Neither / Nor ????
They're not the same - I'll tell you that straight off
Opiates are the tried and true Opium Poppy derivatives that people associate with Morphine, Codeine, Vicodin, and more recently Oxycontin - not to mention their banished cousin, Heroin - To name only a few
Benzodiazepines are another happy family consisting of Valium, Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, etc etc etc ......... AKA diazepam, alprazolam, lorazepam, clonazepam and so on so forth etc etc etc also including the popular Rohypnol (aka date rape roofies)
then again, what was your question?
not at all they are a totally diffrent med that's a sedative/sleeping aid tho benzo's produce effects that are narcotic and are also as adictive as o'c'.
they are two completely different drugs opiate is severe pain medication and benzos are anxiety medication
nope far from the same opiates are your Oxycontin heroin and fetenyl used for pain and benzodiazapine is your kingpin Valium Xians. and that treats anxiety
opiates are narcotics
