No. A midwife can also estimate the length of the pregnancy through palpitation of the mothers abdomen. However, the most accurate what to know how far along the pregnancy is, is to know the date of your last menstrual period and assume that conception took place approximately 2 weeks later.
4 weeks and 5 days from scan, the first two weeks you are pregnant if the weeks which you are ovulating, technically you are not pregnant then but you still have a egg
count 11 weeks back from April 26 and that will be your date of conception
Looks like Oct 22, 2007
Yes.
You should stop smoking immediately after finding out you are pregnant.
if you have a baby then you know you will be about 9 months.
No. They usually do an ultra sound and that will show the fetus.Yes, during the first few weeks of pregnancy, the embryo is so small that it is hard to see, even with an ultrasound. The heartbeat is usually visible in an ultrasound after 7 weeks gestation.
If the ultrasound is done in the first weeks of pregnancy it is possible to date the embryo within a few days, an ultra sound done later is not as accurate for dating purposes.

April
No, but at 5-6 weeks you can hear it with an early ultra-sound. :)
You would have to calculate backwards 13 weeks on a calendar. Keep in mind that whatever date that is would only not be exact but an approximation. The error factor could be plus or minus four days. Actually you would have to count backwards 11 weeks as pregnancy is counted from the first day of the last period, usually about 2 weeks before ovulation. this may vay depending on the length of your cycle.
