you are breathing and you are keeping your eyes closed
No work is being done by the automobile if it is standing still with the engine running since it isn't in motion (not counting any work done by the vibrations transmitted to the air and ground upon which it rests). The engine, on the other hand IS doing work while idling since the parts inside are moving and both having work done on them and, in turn, performing work on other parts.
Any force can produce work if it causes displacement. If displacement is in opposite direction of force, work done will be negative and if displacement is in direction of force work done will be positive. If there is no displacement, work done is zero. Eg: Gravitational force pulls you down towards earth, in pulling you down it does work on you which gets stored in form of potential energy. Energy for A+
Well, if you do that for a while, you could certainly raise a sweat, and you would say that you've done a lot of work. But in the strict Physics definition of "work", none of it has been done to the object you carried. The strict definition is: Force acting through a distance. Referring to the object you carry: -- You don't move it vertically. You just hold it there against the force of gravity, but your vertical force doesn't move it up or down. So no work is done vertically. -- Horizontally, the speed is constant. No force is required to maintain a constant speed, so no work is done horizontally either.
They work gently so as not to break any fragile remnants. They work slowly so they don't miss any thing
My work here is doneActually, the quote is "My work here is done". I heard it came from a Batman movie. I thought there was an old TV show that first used it though. Apparently it's not the Lone Ranger. Any other ideas? The earliest use I've seen is inThe Prisoner of Zenda, by Anthony Hope - 1894"They are right, sire. Let me go. My work here is done."
There is not a documentary film about swallowing insects while sleeping. This is based on an urban myth and is not true.
Almost any task that can be done while seated.
no. it's not bad to pet any animal while it sleeps. why would it be?
They work when they are in session.
Other than drowning, no.

NO
Well. Work is being done. While sitting down, the person does not apply any force. He lets himself be dragged down by gravity. During this process, the gravitational force is doing the work. The work done by the gravitational force is stored as the potential energy present in the compressed cushion.
0 neither of you have done any work
it means to breath automaticlly while sleeping or doing any other activite
Yes. The work is being done by whoever is pushing rather then the engine, but work is being done. Any time a force is applied through a distance, work is being done.
Bumper pads are used in cribs to prevent the baby from hitting or bumping parts of their body to the edge of the crib while sleeping or playing. It cushions any bumps that a child might experience while sleeping.
