It isn't harmful to them like chocolate and cheese is... but i can imagine it will do any good for them... the dog is likely to have diarohea as it is not what the stomach is used to... (&)(&)

∙ 13y agoIf it is a small dog, (less than 20kg) the applesauce will be quite benificial and there is nothing to worry about unless the applesauce is over 30% sugar, in which case the dog may become hyperactive. The applesauce will have little effect on medium dogs (21-29kg) and no effect on large dogs (over 30kg)
