Answer: Not a good idea. The ingredients aren't well suited for dogs or puppies. If you have a healthy puppy, feeding them human baby food diet isn't a good way to introduce them to the world of food. At the very least it can cause an stomach upset and diarrhea.

∙ 13y agoDepends on the dog. Working dog food usually has a higher percentage of protein and often very little to no grain or cereal, which is much better than the majority of commercial dog foods. However, some dogs become hyper and over-active due to the protein levels so need to be switched to a food that has a slightly lower percentage of protein. Other dogs, however, thrive on working dog food.
