A Bachelor Degree.

I think you mean an Associates degree . That is below a baccalaureate.
A misspelling of "baccalaureate" A baccalaureate is a college bachelor's degree.
A baccalaureate degree is a bachelor's degree, a degree you receive after 4 years of undergraduate college work. This derives from the French word baccalaureat.

The baccalaureate is the same as the bachelor's degree. The degree can be referred to by either name, Within the United States, it is more commonly referred to as the bachelor's degree (a four year program of study), but either is correct.

No, Baccalaureate is part of Graduation Ceremonies. Baccalaureate is a service during graduation where it is more like a church service (sorry, not the best explanation of what it really is). When I graduated we had Baccalaureate and Commencement. Baccalaureate was held on Sunday at the school auditorium and then Commencement was the actual receiving of the diplomas. Once you go through all the high school pomp and circumstance, you then go to college to get your Bachelor's Degree. Hope it helps!
The spelling of a baccalaureate degree is correctly bachelor's but is not capitalized except preceding a name, or following it in a list (according to the major style sheets). So it would be "I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology."
