Well, it doesn't kill me when I drink it (guy here), so I'm assuming it's not exclusively for women! Stereotypically, yes, women are supposed to drink it more, but when you consider that the only people who care can only handle weak lager it makes no difference anyway :P
It's better with ice, and if you need warming up it greatly improves a mug of Hot Chocolate/cocoa
You'll find that a few people will consider most spirits/spirit-based drinks to be for women, but I think it's just that they can't take the higher alcohol content. Drink what you want to.
